    For Procurement Managers

You are not buying leather. You are buying the absence of a problem twelve months from now — when you reorder and the new batch has to sit next to the old one without anybody noticing the difference.

The risk you are actually managing

Most leather goods on a tender are bought once and judged once. The failures arrive later: the second batch is a shade off, the hide has changed, the factory has moved, the person who understood the brief has left.

The Saxon has been ordering from us for 26 years. Nobody signs off the same supplier for 26 years because of a brochure — they do it because the reorder always matches the first order.

    How we work with procurement

Everything is confirmed in writing before anything is cut. You get a written specification, artwork approval, and a sample when the order warrants one. Production starts after that approval, not before.

We are the factory. There is no importer between you and the person operating the machine, which is why a specification from four years ago can still be produced today.

    Documents and compliance

BEE Level 2 certification, company registration and VAT details are supplied with the quotation. Delivery is arranged and confirmed against your required date rather than promised against a generic lead time.

    Common questions

Can Vermont supply BEE and company documentation with a quote?+

Yes. BEE Level 2 certification, company registration and VAT details are supplied with the quotation so procurement can complete vendor onboarding in one pass.

Will a reorder match the original order?+

That is the point of holding the specification. We keep the written spec, the branding method and the material record, which is how clients like the Saxon have reordered consistently for 26 years.

Do you produce a sample before the full run?+

On branded or first-time orders, yes. Production begins only after the sample and artwork are approved.

Send the brief, we will handle the rest

Tell us the piece, the quantity range, the branding method and your required date. We will confirm the specification and prepare a quotation.
