At the heart of this project is our unwavering commitment to empower unemployed school leavers by equipping them with essential handcraft and basic sewing skills. We recognize the importance of practical experience, which is why our program also immerses participants in the production processes typically found within a factory environment. This hands-on approach not only enhances their technical abilities but also prepares them for the realities of the workforce.

In addition to the practical skills training, the formal education component of our learnership program is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in fundamental business administration. This includes essential topics such as financial literacy, marketing strategies, and the principles of entrepreneurship. By focusing on the creation of new ventures, we aim to instill a sense of initiative and innovation in our learners, encouraging them to think critically about their future career paths.

We firmly believe that this unique blend of practical skills and theoretical knowledge will empower our participants to take charge of their own lives, enabling them to support themselves and their families effectively. By fostering a sense of self-reliance and confidence, we aim to break the cycle of unemployment and poverty that many of these young individuals face.

Furthermore, the revenue generated from the sales of the products created by our learners is strategically reinvested back into the business. This reinvestment is directed towards acquiring high-quality raw materials, as well as funding ongoing design and product development initiatives. Our ultimate goal is to establish a sustainable business model that supports the ongoing training and development of our participants and contributes positively to the local economy.
